Our Staff

An Apple A Daycare believes in providing an environment where children feel comfortable growing and developing while making meaningful connections. Therefore, we hire staff with varied ages, backgrounds and experiences to enhance the quality of our daycare and to foster a family friendly environment. Our staff are trained, qualified professionals with a degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education (E.C.E), a Bachelor of Education (B.ED.) and/or other Ministry approved degrees and proficiencies. In addition, our staff is equipped with CPR certification and First Aid.

Nicole Trudel

Head Toddler Teacher

Nicole graduated from Loyalist College in 2012, receiving her diploma in Early Childhood Education. She believes that interacting while with children as an ECE, it’s important to be energetic and open-minded.

Joanne Kelly

Head Infant Teacher

Joanne, a mother of two, enjoys her busy days at work with over 7 years of experience. She graduated from Loyalist College and furthered her education with workshops on discovering autism, potty training and much more.

Chantelle Todd

Teacher

Chantelle received her Honours Bachelor of Arts in History and Psychology from Trent University in 2007. She has experience working with children ranging from infants to 10 years of age, as well as children with various special needs.
